| Right now, while you're sitting here reading this, there is someone bringing a child into the world, someone has just fallen in love, someone is sleeping, someone just recieved a life changing sum of money, someone's getting married, someone is learning to read, a child just said their first word, someone is staring into space and someone is having the best day of their life. But, right now...someone has also just been told they have weeks to live, someone has just commited suicide, someone is begging on the streets just to be able to eat, someone has just lost the most important person in their life, someone is being held prisoner, someone is sitting in a factory working for 16 hours a day earning close to nothing. You're sitting on a chair, you have electricity, heat, food, clean running water and you have enough free time to read this. So before you start complaining about your own life, think of the others that wouldn't know how.. | | |

| Sometimes people come into your life and you know right away that they were meant to be there, to serve some sort of purpose, teach you a lesson, or to help you figure out who you are or who you want to become. You never know who these people may be - a roommate, a neighbor, a professor, a friend, a lover, or even a complete stranger - but when you lock eyes with them, you know at that very moment they will affect your life in some profound way. Sometimes things happen to you that may seem horrible, painful, and unfair at first, but in reflection you find that without overcoming those obstacles you would have never realized your potential, strength, willpower, or heart. Illness, injury, love, lost moments of true greatness, and sheer stupidity all occur to test the limits of your soul. Without these small tests, whatever they may be, life would be like a smoothly paved straight flat road to nowhere. It would be safe and comfortable, but dull and utterly pointless. The people you meet who affect your life, and the success and downfalls you experience, help to create who you are and who you become. Even the bad experiences can be learned from. In fact, they are sometimes the most important ones. If someone loves you, give love back to them in whatever way you can, not only because they love you, but because in a way, they are teaching you to love and how to open your heart and eyes to things. If someone hurts you, betrays you, or breaks your heart, forgive them, for they have helped you learn about trust and the importance of being cautious to whom you open your heart. Make every day count. Appreciate every moment and take from those moments everything that you possibly can for you may never be able to experience it again. Talk to people that you have never talked to before, and listen to what they have to say. Let yourself fall in love, break free, and set your sights high. Hold your head up because you have every right to. Tell yourself you are a great individual and believe in yourself, for if you don't believe in yourself, it will be hard for others to believe in you. You can make anything you wish of your life. Create your own life and then go out and live it with absolutely no regrets. And if you love someone, tell them, because you never know what tomorrow may have in store. and it may be too late if you keep it to yourself. Learn a lesson in life each day that you live! Today is the tomorrow you were worried about yesterday.

| Well I do, at least. You just get that thought of: “Why me?” This person could have anyone they wanted and yet, they give you the time and chance. Most people embrace it, but some question it. You feel as if you’re not worth their time, so you question yourself. And some people who figure out why that amazing person never had second thoughts about them, they start to focus on that reason ALONE. Some tend to let it go and go on with their lives. But there are some that feel that if they don’t do this “thing”, that person will be gone. So they fulfill that “reason” too much, and as we all know, too much of a good thing isn’t always good for you. Nobody wants someone who’s too perfect. Nobody wants someone who is too funny, too smart, too outgoing, etc. Whether or not you deny it, it’s true, one way or another. Instead of moving on with our lives and just saying to yourself that that person saw something in you that many overlooked, we refuse to live with that notion. Nobody’s perfect and that’s why we end up with who we end up with. We embrace one’s flaws. We encourage imperfections. It’s what makes us, US. But no matter how much we tell ourselves this, we’ll always wonder, “Why me?” Rather than questioning yourself, question those amazing people that end up with the supposed “wrong” people. Everyone feels they have a fighting chance, but once they get that chance and never had to fight for it, they fight to keep it. Embrace what you have. Embrace what makes you who you are. People will notice, eventually. To those amazing people that overlook you, they’ll find you. Don’t go searching. The best things happen when you LEAST expect it. Let things fall onto your lap rather than forcing anything. Never question yourself, your abilities, your background, your lifestyle, your preference, etc. If you question yourself, that amazing person will just see you for not knowing what you want and not being satisfied with yourself. No one wants anyone that’s NOT comfortable in their own skin. So, when you do find that one amazing person, EMBRACE IT. You’ll end up with good people, even great people, but once you find someone that’s amazing, hold on to him/her and don’t let go (not in the clingy way though), and don’t question yourself unless others question you, which in that case, FUCK'EM. LOL. | | |
| I have to learn respect by earning the same. Anything that goes wrong, I have only myself to blame. You must say your pleases when you ask for a favor. Thank you Lord for your blessings & love thy neighbor. You have to take life one step at a time. Disappointment is not failure, so as long as you try. Someone respectable is not that of money; It’s the one’s who can cry and can tell you he’s sorry. People will try anything to push you down, but you take it with stride and hold your own. I have learned many of life’s lessons through my Father. To Him I say, Thank You. I Love You. — Your Daughter | | |
